The 2019 World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event is just a few days away and all poker enthusiasts that haven't qualified yet or don't have the bankroll to take a shot at the most prestigious poker tournament of the year have another shot at glory in the lower buy-in version.
For the first time, Event #69: $1,000 Mini Main Event will take place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, giving players the chance at a coveted gold bracelet within two days. The tournament will kick off at 11 a.m. local time and Day 1 will feature a total of 20 levels of 30 minutes each.
All participants of the Mini Main receive 60,000 in chips and the late registration is available until the start of level 13. There will be a 75-minute dinner break at the end of level 12 at approximately 5.40 p.m. local time and once the cards are back in the air at ≈ 6.55 p.m. local time, the registration will officially close.

Most likely, all tournament rooms will be used at the start of the day and a big field is expected. Unlike other low stake buy-in events, there will be no re-entry available for this tournament and it is a one shot only. Furthermore, the new popular big blind ante will be used for the entire duration of the event.
The Day 1 survivors will return the following day at noon to play down to a champion, however, depending on the number of entries, an additional tournament day may be required to play down to a winner.
