Jaswal Scores a Double

Nível 3 : 100/300, 300 ante

On a completed board of {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, the stack of Yudhishter Jaswal was counted for 37,300, as he had doubled through Ryan Ashman when his {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} for a pair of aces ended up as the winning hand. Ashman was left with around 10,000 in chips while Jaswal vaulted into a near double stack.

Guibert Makes a Move

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Greg Geller kicked things off with a 700 open and Marco Guibert flat called. On his left a player three-bet to 3,000 and both Geller and Guibert came along.

The flop was the {3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Geller and Guibert checked, with the preflop aggressor continuing for 2,000. Only Guibert called and it was heads up on to the {q-Diamonds} turn. Guibert check-called a 9,000 barrel this time and with a chunky pot in the middle, the dealer laid a {9-Spades} on the river.

When Guibert checked again, his opponent made it 11,200 to get to showdown but Guibert wasn't done and moved all in over the top. The player snap-folded and showed {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} in the process. Guibert responded by turning over {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for the bluff.

Trips for Demersseman

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

With plenty of chips in the pot and the completed board showing {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, Adam Demersseman bet half the pot for 11,000 and Jason Latourette called. Demersseman flipped over {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for flopped trips and Latourette mucked aces.

The table includes one further early big stack, as Lars Hole has already doubled up.

Ji Forces Fold From Bennett

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

On the table of Tsugunari Toma, a bigger pot was brewing when the turn showed {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. Eugene Ji led for 1,700 in the hijack and Joshua Bennett on the button raised to 5,200. Ji wasted little time before reraising to 11,700 and Bennett called. On the {6-Clubs} river, Ji bet 20,000 and Bennett tank-folded.
