Couden Eliminated

Nível 23 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

There will be a new champion of this event as the defending champion Joey Couden was seen walking away from the table, falling just short of the final three tables.

Emery Doubles Through Zinno

Nível 23 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Another short stack survives after Corey Emery found a double through Anthony Zinno. The chips went in preflop and the short stack was the favorite to win the hand.

Corey Emery: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}
Anthony Zinno: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Nothing untoward happened on the {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board and Emery lives on, albeit still one of the shortest left in the field.

Visbisky Out to Martinez in Small Stack Clash

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Alex Visbisky was extremely short and got the last of his chips in preflop over Angel Martinez's min raise just now to find he was the slight underdog.

Alex Visbisky: {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}
Angel Martinez: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Visbisky couldn't find help on the {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} board and was last seen heading towards the payouts desk.

Spurlin Spills Norton

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

From the big blind, Jordan Spurlin raised to 160,000 pre-flop and was called by Brian Norton. The flop came {6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Spurlin fired again for a substantial amount of 330,000. Norton raised to put himself virtually all in and Spurlin upped it to put Norton's final couple of chips into the middle.

Norton was ahead as he held {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} up against the {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} of Spurlin. But the run out would be brutal to Norton as it came the {10-Spades} on the turn and the {10-Clubs} on the river to give Spurlin a huge chip boon.

Norton Doubles Through Henson

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

The turn was out on a {4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{q-Diamonds} board and Brian Norton checked to Raymond Henson who bet 50,000. Back on Norton and he raised 206,000 all in, which sent Henson into the tank. After a minute or so he called and when the cards were turned over, it was the correct decision, with a pair of kings and a flush draw versus Norton's pair of jacks.

Brian Norton: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Raymond Henson: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The river was another {10-Diamonds} and Norton took the pot with trip tens, whilst Henson took the hit.

Jimenez Takes from Chen in Consecutive Hands

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

On a board that read {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts} Adrian Jimenez bet 160,000 which was called by James Chen. Jimenez revealed {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} which took the pot.

The next hand Jimenez continued his momentum as he made a hefty river bet that forced Chen to fold his hand after having called up until the river.
