"I Had All Four Sevens. That's Why I Drew Three Twice"

Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

The player in the hijack limped in, Allen Kessler raised from the button, Joe Weinberger called from the small blind, the player in the big blind called and the limper called.

Weinberger drew two, the big blind drew two, the hijack drew one and Kessler drew three. Action checked to the hijack who bet, and all three opponents called.

The drawing remained the same on the second draw and action was checked around.

On the third draw (which required folded cards and previous betting round discards to be reshuffled back in), Weinberger took one, the big blind took two, the hijack drew one and Kessler drew one.

Action was checked around again and Kessler was best with {9-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}.

"I had all four sevens. That's why I drew three twice," explained Kessler.
