Schumacher Gets Call and Holds For Double

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Johan Schumacher was facing a bet of 11,000 on a flop that read {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. He moved all in for his remaining 41,700.

His opponent, who was in the cutoff thought for a few moments before making the call to put Schumacher at risk.

Schumacher was ahead though as he held the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} up against his opponent's {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. The turn the {3-Clubs} and the river the {6-Diamonds} stayed clean for Schumacher to greatly enhance his stack.

Fish Keeps Climbing

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Darryll Fish raised from the early position and was called by both Giuseppe Pantaleo on the button and Timo Kamphues in the big blind.

They all checked through the {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} on the flop to the {2-Spades} on the turn. Kamphues and Fish both checked, Pantaleo bet 2,500 and Kamphues called. Fish raised to 8,000 which only Pantaleo called.

The river completed the board with the {7-Hearts} on which they both checked again. Fish showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for the flopped two pair and that was enough to make Pantaleo muck his hand.

Mackoff Makes Emmett Fold

Nível 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Jonas Mackoff raised to 2,000 from the hijack and Randall Emmett three-bet to 4,400 in the small blind which Mackoff ended up calling.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Emmett bet 6,000 and Mackoff called.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and now Emmett checked. Mackoff took over the initiative and bet for 5,000 which Emmett called.

The river completed the board with the {3-Hearts}, Emmett checked for the last time. Mackoff looked at his stack and decided to shove. Emmett asked for a count and the dealer confirmed Mackoff had 20,400 behind. Emmett tanked for a while and then decided to let his hand go.

Turn Raise Does the Job For Smiljkovic

Nível 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

In the hijack, Daniel Smiljkovic was involved in a big hand with the board reading {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}.

The small blind led out with a bet of 23,000 which Smiljkovic called.

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and again this small blind led out, this time with a down sized bet of 21,000. Smiljkovic thought for a while and raised to 42,000. His opponent looked surprised by the raise and decided to fold his hand, giving Smiljkovic a substantial pot.

Kane Kicked Out by Yankov

Nível 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Michael Kane
Michael Kane

The board read {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} with over 30,000 in the middle already.

Krasimir Yankov had checked in the big blind and Michael Kane shoved on the button. Yankov contemplated for a bit and then made the call. Kane flipped over {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and got up from his chair as he was playing the pair of sevens on the board with the queen-kicker in his hand. Yankov tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for two pair which beat Kane indeed as he made his way out of the tournament area.

Vieira Stacking Chips

Nível 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

In a very deliberately played hand, Joao Vieira was on the button and 3-bet pre-flop to 8,700 after the original raise had been made by Daniel Neilson to 2,000.

He got one caller who was under the gun, while Neilson folded from middle position.

The flop was {k-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Vieira bet 6,900 after his opponent checked, which received a call after several moments of thought.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds}. Again the first player to act checked and again Vieira bet, this time making it 12,000. This bet proved to be good enough to force his opponent to fold and he collected the nice pot
