Another big name in the field with a big stack is player of the year contender Shaun Deeb. Deeb has a stack of well over 500,000 already and with John Hennigan eliminated from the tournament it's possible for Deeb to take over the number one spot on the leaderboard.

Several players decided to skip Day 1 of Event #74: Big Blind Antes $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Championship and join the field at the start of Day 2.
They were given the 50,000 starting stack which equaled 25 big blinds. Some players such as Fedor Holz and Dan Zack lasted just moments but others have gone on to do much better, such as Mike Mizrachi.
Three-time Poker Players Championship winner Mizrachi has been able to turn his 50k into 550k in just under three hours of play and propelled himself into the top chip counts.

[Removed:16] raised from the under the gun position to 6,000 and Markus Gonsalves called from the big blind.
The two saw the flop appear and Gonsalves checked his option. Dickerson continued with a bet of 8,000 and Gonsalves called to see the turn.
The turn came down and Gonsalves picked the check-calling route again. This time the bet from Dickerson was considerably bigger as he put in 28,000.
The river completed the board and completed a diamond flush draw which turned out to be a big factor in the hand. Gonsalves checked for the third time and Dickerson put in a bet for the third time. He went for 40,000 and it looked like Gonsalves had a tough decision to make as he took his time.
Gonsalves ended up calling as he tabled for the winning hand after seeing Dickerson open up .
