The action folded around to Nick Maimone on the button, and he raised before Byron Kaverman moved all in from the small blind for 59,000. When the action was back on Maimone, he went into the tank and needed several minutes to think before the clock was called on him by Sam Greenwood.

When the tournament director arrived at the table and informed Maimone, he had 25 seconds left to act he instantly made the call.

Nick Maimone: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Byron Kaverman: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

Board: {9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Maimone made the correct call, and his queen kicker held to eliminate Kaverman shortly before the first break of Day 2.

Liv Boeree opened to 5,000 and Conor Beresford called from the big blind.

Both saw the {7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop appear and Beresford checked to Boeree. She put in a bet of 6,000 and a couple moments later Beresford put in a big stack of peach-colored 5,000 chips and Liv Boeree put in all of her remaining chips worth 34,000 in total.

Boeree showed {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and Beresford was holding {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

The turn was an {A-} and the river a complete blank and that secured Boeree the full double up.

Nível 12 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

With {5-}{7-}{7-}{7-}{3-} on the felt, James Obst was in the tank for his last 45,500 against Dan Smith, who had set him in and sat staring off into the distance while Obst thought. Obst appeared to be muttering possibilities to himself as he thought and finally he grabbed his chips and tossed them in.

"I have queens," Smith said.

Will Givens
Will Givens

On a completed board of {2-}{3-}{6-}{4-}{10-}, small blind Fedor Holz was deep in the tank against big blind Will Givens, who had set him in for his last 18,000.

"This is a dream come true," Givens said, bobbing his head to whatever beats ran through his headpones. "To put you in the icebox."

Holz chuckled.

"Weird hand," he said.

"Gotta be to put you in the icebox."

That got some laughs from the table and Holz continued to think. Moments later, he grabbed all of his chips and put them in. Givens showed {a-}{10-} for top pair on the river, having gotten there against Holz's {7-}{6-}.

"Dream come true!" Givens said, shooting out of his chair and clapping before shaking hands with the busted Holz.
