Players in the massive Day 1e Colossus field have gone on their first 20-minute break of the day after Level 4 came to an end.
2012 World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up Jesse Sylvia is in the building and taken his seat in the Amazon White section of the Colossus field as the entrants total increased to 2,761.
There was a raise to 400 from a player in early position followed by a call from the cutoff before Ryan Laplante called on the button. The big bling also came along, and the four players saw a flop. The action was checked to Laplante, and he bet 1,300. Both the big blind and early position raiser called before the cutoff folded.
All three players checked on the turn before the initial preflop raiser bet 2,625 after the
river appeared. Laplante quickly folded to leave the player in the big blind facing a decision, and after some thinking time, he reluctantly let his hand go into the muck.
The field size has grown to 2,632 as Level 4 gets underway. At the end of this level, players will go on their first 20-minute break which will signal the halfway mark for Day 1e late registration.
Last year the penultimate Colossus flight saw a total of 3,966 entries and this year could see similar numbers.

Sebastian Pauli raised to 350 from under the gun and was called by the player in the big blind. Both players checked the flop, then both again checked after the
turn.
The river completed the board, and action was once again checked to Pauli. This time the German decided to bet, and that was enough to make his opponent quickly fold. Pauli revealed his
for a full house and collected the pot.
Pauli will be looking to match his deep run in this event last year when he took 70th place for $10,687.

The players in Las Vegas are taking one of their final opportunities to play in this year's Colossus event as the numbers keep on growing in Level 2.
U.K. professional player Tom "jabracada" Hall is one of the recent few to take a seat as the field had grown to 2,330, surpassing the previous high that came during Day 1a when 2,024 players took to the tables. With six levels left of late registration, there is still plenty of time for the field to further increase.
