Hoang Scoops to Take the Lead

Nível 23 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Kate Hoang
Kate Hoang

In a three-way pot, Kate Hoang bet the {7-Spades}{Q-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop, William Kopp called and Chris Bjorin called as well. Hoang checked the {K-Clubs} turn to Kopp, who bet. Bjorin called and Hoang check-called as well.

On the {10-Hearts} river, Hoang led out, Kopp called and Bjorin folded. Hoang had the nut-nut — {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts} — and rose to 670,000. Kopp was left with 100,000.

Coates Takes Three Quarters

Nível 23 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

On the three-way flop of {Q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}, William Kopp bet and Robert Coates raised to force out a third player in the hand, only Kopp called. The {4-Spades} fell on the turn and Kopp checked, Coates bet and Kopp called. The {6-Clubs} river brought the very same action with a check by Kopp, a bet by Coates for the vast majority of his stack and a call by Kopp.

Coates showed {A-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for the wheel and scooped three quarters of the pot, as Kopp only had {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

Lee Doubles Up

Nível 23 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Mack Lee has been dangerously short for a while now but found a double up to give him slightly more breathing room. With just 30,000 left, Lee was all in, Denny Axel three-bet and isolated Lee heads-up.

Mack Lee: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Denny Axel: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

The board came down {6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} to give Lee the scoop.

Triple Up for Buzgon

Nível 23 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Brandon Ageloff raised and was called by James Pursley in the hijack. Daniel Buzgon called all in on the button. The remaining two active players checked down the board of {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades} entirely and Buzgon said "I got it," rolling over the {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a full house.

That ended up winning the pot, as both opponents briefly flashed their cards without being able to beat the nut full house.

Three Quarters For Wong

Nível 23 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

On the flop of {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, Chad Eveslage bet and William Kopp called on the button, as did Danny Wong in the big blind. The {8-Diamonds} appeared on the turn and Wong checked, Eveslage checked as well. Kopp bet and Wong raised, Eveslage and Kopp both came along.

The {5-Clubs} appeared on the river and Wong moved all in for just shy of a big bet, prompting calls by both opponents. Wong rolled over {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a sixty-trey low and a flush. Eveslage showed {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for a straight and the same low, and Kopp mucked {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{X-}{X-}. Wong secured three quarters of the pot to boost his short stack significantly.

Pursley Backdoors the Winner

Nível 23 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

James Pursley was barrelling a {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{5-Clubs} board and Matt Woodward came along with the calls. Pursley showed {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for the backdoor nut flush and Woodward mucked with some disgust.

Lee Chops to Stay In; Roth Takes Some off Hoang

Nível 23 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Christopher Roth raised it up first to act and was called by Kate Hoang from one seat over. Roth bet the {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop and Hoang called before doing so again on the {K-Diamonds} turn. Roth's third barrel on the {A-Hearts} river forced a fold from Hoang.

Julien Martini limped in and Mack Lee moved all in from the button, Tammer Ilcaffas called out of the small blind, as did Martini. The {9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop was checked before Ilcaffas bet the {4-Spades} turn, Martini called. Ilcaffas also bet the {8-Clubs} river and Martini called, then mucked an ace-trey low when Ilcaffas had shown {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} for the nut low and two pair.

Lee had {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} for the better two pair to earn the high portion of the pot.
