Maria Konnikova moved all in for 33,200 and it was called by Damien Le Goff to create the following showdown:

Maria Konnikova: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Laplante Stacks Eifler

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

There was a raise to 4,000 from early position and three players had called, including bracelet winner Ryan Laplante in middle position. Raymond Eifler jammed from the cutoff for 19,500 and action folded back around to Laplante. He shoved on top, everyone else got out of the way, and the two players tabled their hands.

Ryan Laplante: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Raymond Eifler: {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}

Eifler was racing for his tournament life and needed help from the deck to survive. The board ran out {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} which was no help to Eifler, so Laplante took the pot to send him to the cage.

Duy Ho
Duy Ho

Duy Ho just described a hand he recently played to the PokerNews Live Reporting team. Chris Ferguson raised to 3,500 from early position, Ho called from the hijack, and the player in the big blind also called.

The flop came {Q-}{4-}{3-} and the big blind checked. Ferguson bet 5,000, Ho called, and the big blind folded.

The turn brought a {Q-} and Ferguson checked. Ho bet 10,000 and Ferguson called.

A total brick hit the river and Ferguson checked. Ho bet again, 25,000, this time, sending Ferguson into the tank. After several minutes, he ultimately folded, and Ho showed {7-Spades}{6-Spades} as the dealer pushed the pot his way.
