Dubinskyy Earns It

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Jason Helder raised to 3,200 from early position and and Allen Kessler made the call from late position. Igor Dubinskyy raised to 8,800 from the small blind and Helder and Kessler both called. The flop was {3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and all three players checked. The {5-Clubs} turn brought three more checks and the {3-Clubs} fell on the river.

Dubinskyy fired 15,800, Helder folded and Kessler said "you earned this call," as he counted out chips for the call. Dubinskyy tabled {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and Kessler mucked.

Argentina vs Costa Rica

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

In case Argentina and Costa Rica both win their quarter finals, they would be playing against each other in the semi final at the current world cup in Brazil. They already do battle here in Las Vegas though in Damian Salas and Humberto Brenes.

Brenes bet 6,600 on the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop and Salas three-bet to 15,100. Brenes called and then check-folded the {A-Hearts} turn after Salas bet 19,100. He flashed {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for an open ended straight draw and the Argentinian mucked his cards before raking in the chips. "Okay now I play poker, no more friendly game," Brenes said in table chat.

Two Swedes, One Dutchman

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Joep van den Bijgaart confirmed to us that Jorn Walthaus has been eliminated. He ran with pocket fives into kings and couldn't get there anymore. Besides Michael Tureniec and Daniel Erlandsson, two other Swedes are still left. They are both rather short though.

Gilbard Knocked Out by Swidler

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Crippled after some previous confrontations, Alexis Gilbard moved all in for 10,000 with {A-}{5-} and was called one seat over by Carter Swidler with {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}. Gilbard was ahead until the turn, but the river of a {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} board gave Swidler a straight.

A Few More Updates

Nível 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Joep van den Bijgaart had a short stack at risk for the last two big blinds with {A-Hearts}{9-Spades} versus {Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} but the opponent found the {Q-Diamonds} right in the window. It was only a minor setback for the Dutchman though, as he chipped up for the day.

Below we have some further chip count updates from the purple section.
