Lunkin Takes One From Obrestad

We didn't catch all the action but we know that on a board of Vitaly Lunkin checked to Annette Obrestad and she put out a bet. Lunkin called the bet and the two headed to the on the river.

On the river, Lunkin thought for a few seconds before checking. Obrestad also thought for a few seconds, then she checked behind.

"I have a four," Obrestad said.

Lunkin turned up his for top pair and that was good enough to take down the pot.

"The only way I can get him to fold there is if I shove," Obrestad said. Lunkin shook his head though, implying that there was no way he was folding.

Greg Merson Doubles Up, Then Loses Some Back

With a raise to 6,000 and a call before him, Greg Merson three-bet to 24,500 from the big blind. Samuel Tsehai, the original raiser, four-bet to 43,000, forcing a fold from the third player in the hand. Merson five-bet to 76,500, Tsehai shoved with the bigger stack, and Merson called all in for 284,000 with , miles ahead of Tsehai's .

The flop was safe for Merson, though the turn gave Tsehai two outs. However, the river secured the double up for Merson.

A few hands later, Merson opened to 7,500 in the hijack and Bruno "Kool Shen" Lopes called from the small blind. The flop was checked by both and Lopes bet 10,000 after the turn fell. Dattani Defers

Umang Dattani just opened for 7,000 from the hijack seat, then watched as an opponent on the button pushed all in from the button. It folded back around to Dattani who looked over his sunglasses perched low on his nose at his opponent's stack.

"I'm probably not gonna call," he said, but asked for a count nonetheless. Learning it was 77,500, Dattani leaned back and tossed his cards away. "You win!" he said.

For most of the day, though, it has been Dattani winning the pots at his table. He entered Day 3 with a big stack, and has grown it further all day to push up over 750,000 at the moment.

Morris Endures Slight Damage from Ramage

A three-way hand saw both blinds check a flop to Grayson Ramage in the cutoff who bet 10,500. The action came back to Gregory Morris in the small blind who check-raised to 23,500, forcing out the big blind.
