Vu With Blue Gloves Joins Dangerous Table

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Our desk is set up right in front of a very dangerous table with Matt Matros, Matt Salsberg, and Maxim Lykov. They had an interesting character come sit down moments ago at their table. Tommy Vu just joined the table. For some reason he is wearing blue latex gloves and brought out a large bottle of Perrier.

Maybe the gloves are good luck as we just saw him double when he got in {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} against Matros's {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} preflop. Vu hit a pair on the flop and got the double. He will need to drink more Perrier to keep up his luck as he only had 6,000 after that hand.

Salsberg Makes the Right Call

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

There was about 15,000 in the middle when we walked up to the table to see Matt Salsberg heads up in a pot on a completed board of {5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Salsberg checked to his opponent, who moved all in fairly quickly for his last 5,925. Salsberg got an official count, cut out the chips for the call, and then stuck them in after a few more moments of though. His opponent simply shook his and tabled {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for bottom pair, and Salsberg showed {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for fourth pair on board, which was good enough to claim the sizeable pot.

After winning that hand, Salsberg jumped up to 49,000.

Crain Knocks One Out

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Eric Crain raised to 1,600 preflop, and the big blind pushed all in for 6,900. After getting an exact count from the dealer, Crain pushed forward chips for a call and showed {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}. His opponent held {a-Spades}{10-Spades}. The flop paired Crain, coming {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. The pair of jacks was all he needed, as the turn and river came {2-Spades}, {3-Hearts}. Crain is up to 36,000, and his opponent has been eliminated.

Scott vs. McNeil

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Before the break, we caught a hand between Kara Scott and recent bracelet winner Calen McNeil. McNeil raised to 1,050 from the cutoff, and Scott three-bet to 2,500 from the button. McNeil made the call, and flop came {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}. McNeil checked, and Scott continued for 2,100. McNeil thought for a minute, and then pushed his cards toward the dealer.

After the hand, McNeil sits with 10,000 in front of him, while Scott climbed up to 19,000.
