World Series of Poker Circuit regular Ryan Tepen, who has seven cashes for $43,161 on the circuit, appears to be the chip leader. We're not sure how he got his stacks, but his Twitter account helps shed some light.
Last year Amanda Musumeci just missed out on winning a bracelet in Event #9 $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry when she finished runner-up for $481,643. Musumeci was looking for another deep run in this event, but those hopes just came to an end courtesy of Kenny Nguyen.
The table filled us in on some details, as did Musumeci via Twitter, and apparently it happened when Nguyen opened for 8,000 and then tank-called after Musumeci moved all in for 65,000 or so. Nguyen held and was way out in front of Musumeci's . The flop brought a queen, but Musumeci did pick up a double-gutter on the turn. Unfortunately for her, the river blanked and she was eliminated. With that, Musumeci exited with her seventh-career WSOP cash.
