Lindgren Takes a Hit

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The flop of {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} was showing as we heard Eric Lindgren announce "all in" from middle position. There was one other player in the 30,000 pot and that was the big blind. After some thought, The big blind called for a little less.

Lindgren: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
Big Blind: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The {j-Hearts} turn improved Lindgren's hand but he couldn't fade the {8-Clubs} on the river.

Gannon Doubles Up

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded to Dan Gannon in the small blind who moved all in for 151,500. He was called by the player in the big blind with a covering stack.

Gannon: {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Big Blind: {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Gannon was in trouble and he needed help, but he didn't get it on the {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop. The turn was just what he needed though and the {8-Diamonds} gave Gannon his three outer. He still needed to fade a {10-} though, and he did so when the {6-Hearts} came on the river to give him a full house.

Gannon has a little more life in him now as he has surpassed the 300,000 chip mark.

Wasicka was in the lead with {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} against Pergola's {j-Spades}{3-Spades} for a flush draw. The {j-Hearts} turn gave Pergola the lead and Wasicka saw received no help from the {8-Clubs} river.

Shuman and Rauscher Duke It Out

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Preflop Adam Shuman made a raise to 12,000 from the button. He was called by Russell Crane in the small blind and Christopher Rauscher in the big blind. On the {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, Rauscher made a bet of 10,500. He was only called by Shuman.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} and this time Rauscher fired again for 12,500. Once again Shuman called.

On the {A-Clubs} river, Rauscher slowed down with a check. This prompted Shuman to make a bet of 17,500. Eventually Rauscher made the call.

Shuman showed {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for a flush, but Rausher showed {6-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a rivered flush and he scooped the pot.

Whitney's One Play Backfires

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

It was Whitney and Lhommeau at it again with all most equal stacks. Whitney shoved with {a-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Lhommeau snap called with {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}. The board didn't provide any help to Whitney this time as it ran out {6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Spades} and Lhommeau took the pot.

Darren Oremba's {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} was in the lead against Patrick Kubat's {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and another player's {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. The board came {3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Oremba's queens hold eliminating one player and stacking chips from both.

Whitney Using His One Play

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

As the short stack Zack Whitney has basically one play and that is to move all in. He has done so three times, that we have seen, in the last 30 minutes. We caught this hand between him and Damien Lhommeau. It was a blind versus blind scenario with Whitney shoving followed by the call of Lhommeau.

Whitney: {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Lhommeau: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The board came {7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades} giving Whitney his miracle river and a double up. While he is still short, he has a bit more wiggle room now.

Kelly Kim: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Jonathan Taylor: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
