Chips for Cada

Nível 6 : 150/300, 0 ante

An opponent check-raised 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Cada on a flop of {10-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Cada called.

The turn was the {7-Hearts}, the player opted to lead out, and Cada put in a raise. The player called.

The player checked a third time when the {a-Hearts} completed the board, then folded to Cada's bet. Cada now sits with 8,200 chips.

The Matador Busts

Nível 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

A short-stacked Carlos Mortensen was all in preflop for his last 550. Two players had him at risk, and one bet out on every street as the board came {9-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. The third player called him down, then mucked when the bettor showed {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a full house.

Mortensen left without showing his cards, but because it was an all-in situation the dealer was forced to table them. The 2001 Main Event champion had held {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}.
