Dickerson Takes On Halliez

Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Dimitri Halliez
Dimitri Halliez

Dimitri Halliez, who's having an incredible day so far, opened the action and [Removed:16] three-bet from the blinds. The chipleader called in position to see the {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop appear. Dickerson continued with a bet of 45,000 and Halliez called.

On the {5-Spades} turn, Dickerson wasn't backing down and fired a second bullet of 75,000. It was enough to shake Halliez, who could afford the small hit and is sitting at more than 700,000 in chips.

Fauvel Can't Win Classic Flip

Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Caroline Fauvel
Caroline Fauvel

Caroline Fauvel, fresh off a huge score of €87,000 by winning last month's WPTN in Deauville, was unable to win the mother of all coinflips.

After Matthias Widmann had opened on the hijack, Fauvel shoved all in for 240,000 on the button holding {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}. Widmann made the call with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and remained ahead after the {7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs} board failed to improve Fauvel.

The last remaining female in the tournament finished in 40th place and was also the last one to receive 32,000 MAD.

Henri Dupont Takes Down Two

Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

A very shortstacked Hugo committed his last chips from early position. In late position, Angelique Grasso shoved all in as well. Henri Dupont was interested and called from the blinds to put both players at risk.

Hugo: {K-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Angelique Grasso: {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Henri Dupont: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The {5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{J-Spades} flop all but decided it, although Grasso picked up some outs on the {K-Spades} turn.

"Dame! Dame!", Grasso begged, but her prayers weren't answered. The {5-Clubs} hit the river to secure the double knockout for Dupont. Hugo and Grasso both went home with 32,000 MAD for their respective deep runs.

Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Another Miracle On Fifth Street

Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Alexandre Reard
Alexandre Reard

It's the day of the runner-runners, as Alexandre Reard just found out. With pocket fours, Reard flopped bottom set on a {K-}{8-}{4-} flop and got action from Arron Fletcher. On the {8-} turn, the rest of Fletcher's stack went in, who was in dire straights with {A-}{K-}

After being a 98% (!) dog on the flop, Fletcher hit runner-runner perfect by spiking the {K-} on the river, improving to a better full house. Reard let out a heavy sigh as the 590,000 pot got shipped to his British opponent.

Miracle Runner-runner Saves Pauker

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Maurice Delmas was first to act, opting for a raise to 20,000. Heinrich Pauker shoved all in for 106,000 from middle position. Behind Pauker, Juan woke up with a hand and reshoved all in.

The decision was on Delmas, who had to make a decision for his entire stack of 300,000. After the clock got called, he folded with mere seconds left.

Heinrich Pauker: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Juan: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

Upon seeing Juan's hand, Delmas breathed a sigh of relief. Pauker needed help to survive, but the flop was devastating: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{8-Spades}. Juan flopped a set of queens and Pauker was down to a runner-runner miracle.

The {10-Spades} on the turn was the best possible card Pauker could hope for, opening straight- and flushouts to survive. The river {2-Spades} completed the miracle flush and saved Pauker's tournament life in a miraculous way.
