Mustapha Kanit limped in from the small bind with AJ and Yinan Zhou checked his option with K9. The flop came 442 and both players checked to the A on the turn.

Kanit led out with a bet of 24,000,000 after making top pair and Zhou stuck around for the 10 on the river. Kanit put together another bet of 85,000,000 and Zhou refrained from making a hero-call.

Aziz Flops a Pair to Double Up

Yinan Zhou opened to 16,000,000 on the button and Marcelo Aziz three-bet to 29,000,000 in the small blind. Zhou four-bet shoved all in and Aziz called off his stack of 57,000,000.

The flop came KQ6 and Aziz flopped top pair to take the lead. The 2 and 5 runout was clean and the Brazilian rail celebrated a double-up for their countryman.

Mustapha Kanit opened to 24,000,000 in the small blind with 73 and Yinan Zhou called in the big blind with A8.

Kanit bet 18,000,000 on the flop of 698 and Zhou called. Kanit then bet 32,000,000 on the 9 turn and Zhou again called.

Kanit pulled the trigger on the 9 river with a bet of 58,000,000 with nothing but seven-high and Zhou called with his full house to win the pot.

Kanit Doubles Into the Lead

Mustapha Kanit limped in from the small blind and Yinan Zhou ripped all in as the big stack in the big blind. Kanit thought for a minute and then decided to call off his stack of 216,000,000.

It turned out to be a coin flip and the flop of J32 put Kanit in the lead with a pair of jacks. The 10 and 10 runout gave Kanit a full double up into the chip lead.

Mustapha Kanit called in the small blind with Q10 and Yinan Zhou raised in the big blind with A8.

Kanit checked on the flop of J95 and Zhou checked back. Kanit then bet 28,000,000 on the 6 turn and Zhou called.

The K river gave Kanit the nuts and he set the trap with a check. Zhou wasn't falling for it and checked back his ace-high to lose the pot.

Zhou Pips Kanit for a Big Pot

Yinan Zhou opened to 16,000,000 on the button with 98 and Mustapha Kanit called from the big blind with 87. The flop of 843 gave both players top pair and Kanit started with a check. Zhou tossed in a bet of 12,000,000 and Kanit called.

The turn brought the 6 and Kanit led out with a bet of 24,000,000 after picking up a straight draw. Zhou just called and the J completed the board. Kanit checked this time and Zhou found a value bet of 38,000,000. Kanit paid him off and Zhou took a big chip lead on his two opponents.

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is wrapping up 2024 down in The Bahamas with WSOP Paradise, but they’re already looking ahead to the New Year by announcing the dates for the 56th Annual WSOP in Las Vegas.

For the fourth consecutive year, the summer WSOP will take place at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. The series will run from May 27 to July 16, 2025, while the $10,000 Main Event will start on July 2 with the final table taking place between July 15-16 inside the Horseshoe Events Center.

“Each year allows us to refine further and improve the WSOP offering, and 2025 will be no exception,” WSOP CEO Ty Stewart said in a press release. “Expect the biggest poker events on the planet, the best action, and the most intense competition as we once again welcome tens of thousands of poker enthusiasts eager to experience the magic of the WSOP.”

Break Time

The final three players are going on another 15-minute break. Yinan Zhou currently holds a healthy chip lead with each player guaranteed at least $3,600,000.

Zhou Flushes Out Kanit's Straight

Mustapha Kanit limped in from the small blind with 75 and Yinan Zhou raised to 24,000,000 in the big blind with 74. Kanit called with suited one-gapper and the dealer fanned the monotone flop of K84.

Kanit checked to Zhou who continued with a bet of 15,000,000 after flopping bottom pair and a flush draw. Kanit check-raised to 43,000,000 but Zhou still called.

The 6 on the turn gave Kanit a straight but was drawing dead to the flush of Zhou. Both players checked and the K completed the board. Kanit checked one more time and Zhou was happy to take it to showdown.
