Nível 3 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ana Marquez
Ana Marquez

With over 240,000 in the middle the turn read 8544 and Ottomar Ladva fired a bet of 85,000 from the big blind. Ana Marquez was the only opponent in the hand and made the call in the cutoff.

When the 6 fell on the river Ladva announced all in for about 445,000. Marquez had roughly 160,000 and dropped a chip across the line to make the call.

Marquez tabled her JJ but was shown the bad news as Ladva rolled KK, sending her out of the tournament.

Daniel Zack
Daniel Zack

In a three-way pot on a board of 10643, Jean-Noel Thorel, who, despite being seated next to 2022 WSOP Player of the Year Daniel Zack, is the brightest player at the table today, bet before a raise from Zack. Shawn Stroke then called from the next seat and Thorel folded.

Zack checked on the 5 river and Stroke bet 127,000. Zack went deep in the tank before calling.

"Good call," Stroke said as he showed A9 for just ace-high, leading Zack to show K10 to win the pot with top pair.

Juan Pardo

Juan Pardo opened to 10,000 from early position and was called by Jean-Noel Thorel on the button. Matt Glantz defended his big blind and came along to the Q26 flop.

Pocket Nines Good for Fast

Nível 3 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Dietrich Fast opened 9,000 in the cutoff and only Ivan Govorov came along from the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of K74, and Govorov check-called a bet of 6,000.

Both players tapped the table when the 6 fell on the turn, and the 2 completed the board on the river. Govorov checked once again to Fast as he fired 27,000 across the line. After only a couple seconds of thought, Govorov made the call.

Fast quickly rolled his 99 and Govorov mucked his hand.
