After several hands of bubble madness, media and players gathered around to witness what would be the final hand of Day 1c.
Remy Cougnenc had less than one big blind and so had all his chips in the middle in the small blind. Baz Lextaz opened the action with a raise from late position and all other players folded. After all other tables had finished the hands, players flipped their cards.
Remy Cougnenc: K♥Q♦
Baz Lextaz: A♣3♣
The board ran out 8♠6♥3♦9♣J♥. Neither player improved and so Lextaz held with his ace high. Cheers erupted around the room. Cougnenc busted on the bubble of Day 1c.
