There has been over a week of the poker community having the best in the world battle it out on live-streamed final tables during this years U.S. Poker Open, and the most anticipated tournament starts today in Event #10: $100,000 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event at the PokerGo studio just outside of the ARIA Resort & Casino.
Last years main event had a smaller buy in of $50,000 but all the same caliber of player, with the first USPO man event winner being Keith Tilston for a payday of $660,000. Tilston took down the likes of Jake Schindler, Daniel Negreanu, Tom Marchese, and Dan Smith on his way to victory during the final day of the 2018 USPO.
This years current points leader is Stephen Chidwick, who happens to also be the reigning 2018 USPO champion. Chidwick has already made four final tables during this series, winning two of them, and has $705,950 in earnings. He has many close competitors on his tail as the main event kicks off today, look for him to bring his best game as he tries for another USPO title.

The final table of Event #9: $50,000 No'Limit Hold'em is still underway, headlining and also leading in that event is Sean Winter, who has now made five final tables of series and is currently sitting second on the points leader board. Winter will need a third place finish to tie Chidwick for the lead, and second or first will lock him alone at the top of the food chain.
Players will begin with 200,000 in starting chips and be playing 40-minute levels with the night ending after 14 levels of play. There are no tournament fees for players who register by the 2 p.m. PST start time and each player is allowed one re-entry through the first ten levels. There is also a 30-second shot clock in play for the duration of the tournament and each player will receive three 60-second time banks each day.

David Peters opened to 2,500 from the cutoff and Rainer Kempe three-bet to 12,000 from the small blind. Peters called to see a flop.
On the flop, Kempe continued with a bet of 8,000. Peters called.
Both players checked on the turn and the river and Kempe showed down his That was good to take down the pot.

Just moments after Jason Koon paid off a bet of 10,000 by Ali Imsirovic who was holding thee fives, he opened a hand from the cutoff, Chris Hunichen, Nick Schulman and Martin Zamani called.
The flop came down , action checked to Koon who bet 8,000 and only Hunichen called. A fell on the turn and both players checked to the on the river.
Hunichen bet out 13,000, Koon sais "You mush have jacks," as he threw his hand into the muck, sending the pot to Hunichen.

Nick Schulman opened from the cutoff with a raise to 3,000. Dennis Blieden called in the small blind and Ali Imsirovic called in the big blind.
The flop was and Blieden led out for 4,000. Imsirovic then raised, making it 14,000. Schulman tanked a bit, then folded but Blieden called.
Blieden led again on the turn, making it 20,000. Imsirovic didn't waste long calling.
On the river, Blieden bet again, making it 46,000. Imsirovic instantly called. Blieden turned over his for a turned flush, but Imsirovic was holding for a better flush and that would earn him the big pot early here on Day 1 of the Main Event.

Isaac Haxton opened to 2,500 from the cutoff, David Peters called on the button and Rainer Kempe defended his big. The dealer fanned out on the flop and all three players checked.
A fell on the turn, action checked to Haxton and he fired 3,000 into the pot. Peters called, Kempe ducked and the came on the river. Both players checked, Haxton tabled for ace high and Peters showed for queens up, taking down the pot.
