Prodhan Defends Big

Frederik Andersson opened from the middle to 1,200 and the only caller was Masud Prodhan in the big blind. Prodhan check-called Andersson's bet of 1,200 on the flop.

They both checked the turn, but when the river came Prodhan fired 6,500 into the pot and Andersson mucked his hand. Prodhan couldn't hold onto those chips however, and he busted a few hands later.

They are in the money now, with the next player to bust collecting just over €4,000, while the winner will pocket more than €15,000.

Buckley Pressures Preflop

Mark Buckley got things started with a bet to 1,200 from the cutoff in a hand where the big blind was not at the table. Small blind Stephen Kane came over top with a raise to 3,500.

Buckley took a few seconds to make a decision, and then four-bet to 10,000. That sent Kane into the tank for a few seconds, but he ultimately decided to get rid of his hand.

Moolhuizen and Borowicz Grab Chips

In the first of two hands from Table 3, there were three players in preflop, including Mateusz Moolhuisen in the cutoff. When the flop came they all checked, but when it checked to Moolhuizen on the turn, he bet 1,200 and got both opponents to fold.

In the next hand on the same table, Sulaiman Sesy opened to 700 under the gun, and was called by Miroslaw Borowicz in middle position, as well as Shane McElhinney in the big blind. The flop came and it checked to Borowicz who bet 1,400, enough to clear off the other players.
