The dinner break has just concluded, and the remaining 48 players are back at the felt for the start of Level 7. That also means registration is now closed on Day 1a of the Main Event, so the final total for Day 1a was 83.

Play continues for another four levels before they bag up for the night. There's one more 20 minute break between Level 8 and 9, and the day is scheduled to end around midnight tonight.

Meanwhile, across the room the NLH Turbo is still playing down to a winner, with 13 of the original 55 entries still in play. Seven players will share in the €8,250 prize pool with €2,790 up top for first place. Alongside the NLH Turbo, another satellite for the Main Event has just entered Level 2 and there are currently 38 total entries with 37 players sitting with chips in front of them.

Tarek Qunber is the High Roller Champion

The High Roller event is now in the books. The final three players, including Niall Farrell, agreed to a deal after Max Silver went out in fourth place. Tarek Qunber was the eventual champion to lift the trophy. Below are the full payouts from the High Roller.

There's still two more chances to get into the Main though, with another regular flight starting Friday at noon, and a turbo Day 1c flight on Friday night starting at 9PM.

Kulesza Wins the Race

Tom Veenhuysen opened the betting to 1,200 from the middle, and Micha Kulesza came over top to 3,600 from the cutoff. It folded back to Veenhuysen, who shoved for 21,400.

Kulesza quickly made the call with the bigger stack, and his was racing against the for Veenhuysen. Kulesza hit on the flop, and there was no help for Veenhuysen on the turn and river.

Preflop Aggression Gets it Done for Gough

Pasi Kakkonen was in late middle position, and he raised to 1,400. John Gough came over top from the cutoff to make it 4,000.

It folded back to Kakkonen and he took a few seconds to count out a four-bet to 11,200. Gough didn't take long to shove his stack, which covered Kakkonen by quite a bit.

It folded back to Silver, and he shoved for about 16,000, pushing the other two players out of the hand.
