Jesse O'Shea fired a 2,000 bet on a flop before Darren Delahunty made it 6,200. O'Shea called to see the on the turn and both players checked.
The river was the and O'Shea bet 12,500, Delahunty moved all in and O'Shea instantly called with . Delahunty could only show a bluffy and the Irishman moved up to around 50,000.
Fatima de Melo was in the small blind facing off against Simon Deadman. They had got to the turn of a board reading and de Melo bet 3,500 and Deadman made the call. The river was the and de Melo placed out a bet of 6,500. Deadman gave her a long look and mucked his cards.
On the next hand short stacked Jacob Hicklin opened from first position for 2,100 and Deadman three-bet him to 6,000. Oliver Fabian on the button smooth called and it folded to de Melo in the big blind. The Team PokerStars SportStar cut out a raise to 13,000 and quick folds from Hicklin and Deadman saw the decision back on Fabian. He took his time before moving all in for just under 40,000 a similar stack size to De Melo.
De Melo looked a bit stunned asking him, “You have aces?” Answer came there none. Several minutes ticked by before de Melo made the call with . Fabian flipped over .
The board ran out and after a stack count Fabian was felted. “Would you have flatted with aces?” de Melo asked him. “You made the right move. I almost folded.” Fabian didn’t seem in the mood for a post-mortem on the hand but after he left the table the other players in the hand discussed it agreeing the de Melo looked so strong that Fabian’s move looked even stronger. Hicklin said he folded and Deadman .

The last break of the day had just started. Back in 15.
Gary Lawther opened to 2,000 preflop and was called by Andre Wagner. Jon Spinks then moved all in from the big blind and both Lawther and Wagner made the call.
The flopcame and Lawther check/folded to a 10,000 bet - though not without a long period of tanking. Wagner turned over to Spinks' and the turn and river changed nothing.

Donald Rae had a few questions for Scott Byron who is a member of the Rational Group Staff wearing the PokerStars Staff patch today. “You get a day off to come and play?” Byron confirmed they did. “Do you get sponsored?” Rae continued.
“No, no.” Byron shook his head emphatically explaining that there was no preferential treatment and that the company didn’t want to make a big deal about them playing but no they didn’t have a problem if one of them managed to win it. Byron then explained some off the other tournaments they play in and the packages on offer. “I like the company more and more.” another player exclaimed.
“It’s a great place to work.” Byron confirmed.
Sometimes it gets messy.
Christopher Argento, a member of the Rational Group Staff, was all in preflop with against Gabi Livshitz's . But those fickle, fickle poker gods would doom the former when the board came . Livshitz apologised several times which a semi-stunned Argento quickly accepted.
