Day 2 of the 6-Max Event Kicks off at 1PM
The second of four events at the 2018 Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro festival at the Maestral Resort & Casino will determine a champion today. Day 2 of the HKD$250,000 (approximately $31,850) 6-Max Event gets back underway at 1 p.m. local time and thus far, a field of 28 entries has emerged, of which 15 players bagged up chips last night.
The size of the field is not set in stone just yet, however, as the registration and re-entry period remains open for the first two levels of 40 minutes each. All new additions to the field will receive 50,000 in chips and level 10 recommences with blinds of 800-1,600 and a running ante of 200.
Leading the field into Day 2 is German High Roller regular Christian Christner with 193,900, followed closely by Malaysia's Chan Wai Leong (189,300). In third place sits Isaac Haxton with 171,600 and Stephen Chidwick is aiming to add further glory to his already impressive start into the year. Chidwick, who has taken over the top spot of the GPI Player of the Year and overall ranking, will return to the tables with 106,800.
Some of the other familiar faces of the High Roller circuit still in contention are Winfred Yu (98,400), Dominik Nitsche (84,800), Koray Aldemir (83,000), Mikita Badziakouski (82,400), Orpen Kisacikoglu (61,400), Stefan Schillhabel (43,000), Manig Loeser (25,400), Julian Thomas (23,300) and Dietrich Fast (15,400).
Among those to be expected to join the action on the final day are Steve O'Dwyer, Steffen Sontheimer and Jason Koon, and the PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor to provide all the action until a winner is crowned. The Triton Poker Twitch stream will be available on a security delay of 30 minutes as well with English commentary by Randy Lew and Kane Kalas.

Only minutes after he was eliminated, Orpen Kisacikoglu has re-entered and was waiting for a seat assignment right behind Steve O'Dwyer and Steffen Sontheimer. That has boosted the field to 31 entries, of which 17 players currently remain.

Steffen Sontheimer raised to 3,500 and Dietrich Fast came along out of the big blind. Julian Thomas joked "great call" before the two Germans headed to the 
flop. The action went check, check, and Fast then check-called a bet of 3,000 on the 
turn. No betting action took place on the 
river and Fast rolled over the

Chidwick Takes on Haxton and Sontheimer

On the button, Stephen Chidwick raised it up to 3,500 and was called by Isaac Haxton in the big blind. The latter opted to check the 
flop before calling a continuation bet worth 2,500. On the 
turn, both players checked and Haxton check-folded the 
river to a bet of 14,000.
One table over, a bigger pot emerged between Dominik Nitsche in the small blind and Christian Christner in the cutoff. The duo checked the 
turn and Nitsche's bet of 17,000 won the pot uncontested.
Back to the other outer table, Chidwick made it 3,500 to go and Sontheimer three-bet to 10,800 from one seat over in the cutoff. Chidwick moved all in and Sontheimer folded.

The registration remains open for another 50 minutes and Dietrich Fast will have to re-enter in order to take a shot at the prize pool after having just busted in a battle of the blinds against Stephen Chidwick. Fast open-shoved for what appeared to be 23,000 and Chidwick tossed in a single chip for the call out of the big blind.

Yu Bluffs into Leow

The action is also underway on the feature table, with Malaysia's Ivan Leow, Beh Kok Weng and Chan Wai Leong, Belarusian Mikita Badziakouski and Hong Kong's Winfred Yu all in action.

Some of the more exciting hands recently taking place involved Winfred Yu bluffing into the rivered nut club flush of Ivan Leow, who had flopped top pair on a 
flop and got cute by checking his option in a four-way pot. This paid off dividends later with Yu, the pre-flop raiser, taking a stab on the turn and representing the flush on the river in a 24,000 pot.
Leow played it safe, just making the call with and Yu mucked his speculative 
without showdown leaving Leow to pull in a decent pot.
Dietrich Fast has not long joined the table in real time after busting his first bullet earlier, bringing it up to its full six-handed capacity so you should see the German pop up on the stream shortly.

Dietrich Fast has re-entered and took a seat over on the feature table while Julian Thomas was left short on the outer tables. Isaac Hacton limped in from the button and Thomas checked in the big blind. He then check-called a small bet on the 
flop before doing so again for 3,500 on the turn. On the 
river, Thomas checked and Haxton bet 30,000 to force a fold.
One table over, Christian Christner raised on the button to 3,500 and Stefan Schillhabel moved all in for 40,000 in the small blind. That proved to be too much for Christner and he folded. One hand later, Orpen Kisacikoglu made it 3,500 to go first to act and Christner claimed the pot with a three-bet to 10,500.
