Day 2 is complete with 40 players left in the game. "AnyExtras" bagged a monster stack of 10.3 million at the end for the biggest stack, while Canada's Mike "SirWatts" Watson ended the night with just over 8 million.

They played 10 full levels on Day 2, with some action in Level 26 before it all ended for the day. There were 235 players that came back for Day 2 after quite a few overnight entries swelled the field to 587 with a prize pool of $5.87 million.

Both of the leaders got their milestones very near the end of the day. Watson bagged his 8 million stack thanks to the final hand of the night while "AnyExtras" got their 10 million with a 500k pot three hands from the end.

The 587 total entries generated a prize pool of $5.87 million and the biggest piece of that will be more than $1 million for the winner on Wednesday. Some of the prizes started getting awarded today, but it took some time to get there though, with 235 players returning but only 71 players sharing in the money.

There is almost $3.7 million waiting to be won on Wednesday's final table, but still quite a bit of money left to hand out on Day 3 as well. Players are now guaranteed $29,432 with the next pay jump to $37,590 at 31st place.

Day 3 action kicks off at 12:30 ET and PokerNews will be on the virtual floor live from the opening hand. However, coverage will be hybrid and will switch to delayed coverage when the PokerStars Twitch stream switches to coverage of this event.

"AnyExtras" is the only player to end the day with 10 million chips, but two-time EPT Main Event champ Mike "SirWatts" Watson managed to bag 8 million at the end. He picked up a 2 million chip pot in the final hand to jump into second.

Stefan "baeks22" Schillhabel raised the button to 154k and then called when Gabriel "aaurelio" Moura raised the big blind to 595k. Moura bet 126k on the AA5 flop and Schillhabel called.

On the 4 turn, Moura fired 245k then called when Schillhabel bumped it up to 840k. Moura checked the 8 river that washed up the backdoor spades, and Schillhabel shoved for just over 1.9m. Moura mucked to send the 3.2m pot to Schillhabel.

Just a few hands after this one, Jon "apestyles" Van Fleet bubbled Day 3 and the remaining 40 players have bagged up their chips for the night. Stay tuned for a full recap of Day 2 play coming shortly.

It was a big pot for Paulo "paulinhoo00" Brombin when they turned a club flush against "DingeBrinker" and Dominik "Bounatirou" Nitsche. Nitsche got out of the way on the turn, but "DingeBrinker" stuck around and paid off a river bet on another club, only to muck when Brombin showed AJ.

Meanwhile, David "MissOracle" Yan was among the players to bust bringing the field down to 44 remaining with the day scheduled to end with 40 players left.

Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas raised the hijack to 120k and got calls from both blinds. They all checked the 106J flop, bit Stefan "baeks22" Schillhabel bet the 2 flush turn for 136,125 and took it down. Gabriel "aaurelio" Moura was in the big blind.
