Lex "L.Veldhuis" Veldhuis is still above his start-of-day stack but he just gave a few chips to David "MissOracle" Yan after Velduis opened under the gun to 24.6k but then folded to Yan's raise to 72k from the hijack.

Numbers Dropping Fast at First Break

Nível 16 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

They are nearing just 200 players left as the first break of Day 2 begins with 206 players left in the game now. They are fighting for 71 paid spots, and they'll get there today with the day scheduled to finish with 40 players remaining.

Rayan "beriuzy" Chamas is still sitting with a big stack of 2 million, but fellow Canadian "AnyExtras" has jumped to the lead with 2.7m. Sam "SamSquid" Grafton also ended his Day 2 rather early today, leaving four Team Pros left in the action.

PokerStars Team Pros Back in the Game

Benjamin Spragg
Benjamin Spragg

There are four PokerStars Team Pros who jumped in with a Day 2 start stack today and are waiting for the action now. Among them are Rafael "GM_VALTER" Moraes and Ben "Spraggy" Spragg. No doubt Spragg will be looking to survive a little longer than he did on Day 1.

Rayan "beriuzy" Chamas Leads Six 2M Stacks into Day 2

Rayan Chamas Day 1 Chip Leader
Rayan Chamas Day 1 Chip Leader

Day 2 of SCOOP 108-H: Main Event is on-deck for 12:30 ET today with 183 players returning at this point. That number may well change before cards go in the air as entries are open until the Day 2 action begins. In total, 533 entries so far have pushed past the $5m guarantee for $5.33 million in prizes right now.

Day 1 played 15 levels and at the end of the day, Canadian streamer Rayan "beriuzy" Chamas was sitting behind the most chips. He bagged up 2,372,359 and was the biggest of six players with more than 2 million chips to start Day 2.

Mike Watson
Mike Watson

There are three Canadians in the top ten chips to start Day 2 including Chamas while Poland has two players in the top ten. While he didn't make it to the top stacks, another Canadian, Mike "SirWatts" Watson is sitting in 13th with just over 1.5 million to start Day 2. As just the third player to win two Main Event titles on the EPT (one PCA victory, and a recent win in Monte Carlo), Watson is always dangerous and looks to be on a bit of a sun-run lately.

Quite a few Team Pro members played on Day 1, but only one of them emerged from the day with chips. Lex "L.Veldhuis" Veldhuis bagged a small stack of 427k, but that is still more chips than Rafael "GM_VALTER" Moraes and Ben "Spraggy" Spragg. They both busted on Day 1, but are on the list waiting for Day 2 with a 250k second-bullet starting stack.

Spragg specifically had a rough, and quick, Day 1. Shortly after his name appeared on the players' list for Day 1, a tweet appeared on his timeline:

With any luck, his second bullet will last a bit longer than his first. Among the other notables to make Day 2 are Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer, Simon "DaDumon" Grabenschweiger, Niklas "Lena900" Astedt, Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi (playing his fourth bullet) and Jans "Graftekkel" Arends with a short stack.

The Day 2 action gets going at 12:35 ET with the beginning of Level 16 and Day 2 will continue until there are 40 players left in the game.
