Julian Thomas opened the action with a raise to 10,000 and John Juanda called from one seat over in the hijack. Jason Mercier in the cutoff moved all in for 89,500 and Thomas asked for a count, then moved all in over the top. Dmitry Yurasov has claimed another victim and this time, it was none other than Daniel Negreanu who fell to the Russian prodigy. Negreanu had opened to 9,000 in early position and Yurasov three-bet to 32,000 from the big blind. Negreanu went all in and Yurasov called directly to put Negreanu at risk.

On a heads-up flop of , Julian Thomas checked out of the small blind and Pavel Plesuv bet 16,000. Thomas check-raised to 55,000 and Plesuv called. Both checked the on the turn and Thomas then shoved the river. Plesuv had around 180,000 left and eventually folded.
