The board ran out {2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and the fives held to eliminate Moolhuizen in eighth place for $11,200.

Sriharsha Doddapaneni

Brunno Botteon opened before Sriharsha Doddapaneni made it 175,000 from late position. Botteon fired back with a bump to 300,000 and Doddapaneni shoved for a total of 850,000. Botteon called immediately and the cards were turned up.

Sriharsha Doddapaneni: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Brunno Botteon: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs} and the kings held to eliminate the Day 2 chip leader from the tournament in ninth place for $9,300.

Botteon Makes Amazing Hero Call

Nível 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Brunno Botteon
Brunno Botteon

In a pot of close to 200,000 on a board showing {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, Brunno Botteon checked from middle position to Sriharsha Doddapaneni in the cutoff who bet 100,000. Botteon took a moment to weigh his options but eventually came along to the {9-Clubs} turn.

Botteon checked again and Doddapaneni came with a sizing to 225,000, which Botteon called. The {5-Diamonds} completed the board and Botteon checked a third time. Doddapaneni pretty quickly announced all in, covering the 545,000 left for Botteon, who went deep in the tank.

After close to a minute of thought Botteon flicked in a chip for the call and the hands were tabled. Doddapaneni opened {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for queen-high while Botteon confidently tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for the ace-high hero call and the winning hand.

Sebastian Toro Eliminated In 10th Place ($7,750)

Nível 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Sebastian Toro
Sebastian Toro

All the chips went in preflop between Steven Fandozzi and Sebastian Toro, and it was Toro who was at risk. Toro had roughly 800,000 to start the hand and Fandozzi had him well covered.

Sebastian Toro: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Steven Fandozzi: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

It was a pretty even match-up preflop, but when the board ran out {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}, it was the turned flush for Fandozzi that sent Toro to the payout desk on the final table bubble in 10th place.

Paul Dewald
Paul Dewald

Paul Dewald moved all in from the hijack for 385,000 and Maria Konnikova, next to act, made the call. The rest of the table got out of the way and the cards were shown.

Paul Dewald: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Maria Konnikova: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

It was a flip preflop, but when the board ran out {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, it was the flush for Konnikova that eliminated Dewald in 11th place.

Ludovic Geilich Eliminated In 12th Place ($6,450)

Nível 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Ludovic Geilich
Ludovic Geilich

The action was picked up in a heads up pot with roughly 300,000 in the middle on a board showing {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{9-Spades}. Jonathan Little bet out 150,000 from the small blind and Ludovic Geilich moved all in for close to 600,000. Little snap-called with a bigger stack and the cards were on their backs.

Ludovic Geilich: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Jonathan Little: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

It was a massive cooler for Geilich as he flopped bottom set against the middle set for Little. The inconsequential {q-Spades} hit the river and Geilich was sent to the exit in 12th place.

Geilich Takes From Toro; Delgado Pressures Konnikova

Nível 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Play has slowed down as the remaining 12 players jockey for their spot at the final table.

Action was heads-up with 100,000 in the pot and {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} on the board when Sebastian Toro bet 40,000 and Ludovic Geilich called. The turn was {k-Diamonds} and both players checked to see {5-Hearts} on the river. Toro checked once again and Geilich fired 210,000, which got a quick fold.

Meanwhile, on the other table, Maria Konnikova raised to 180,000 before Vicente Delgado made it 265,000. Konnikova went into the tank for a few minutes to consider her options. She opted to toss her hand in the muck and gave the pot to Delgado.
