Many of the greats in the game will return to their seats on moving day of the $25,500 MILLIONS World. The partypoker Caribbean Poker Party is being hosted at the Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas this year and all of the best players in the world have made the trek to take part in some spectacular poker tournaments.
There will be 183 players returning after two starting flights but that number is expected to grow with late registration still open for a few hours. There have been a total of 282 entries thus far but with a $10 million guaranteed prizepool, there is still a bit of work to do to reach the goal of 400 entries. The staff still remains confident though as everyone will be given the opportunity of two entries before late registration is closed today.
Some notables to keep an eye on heading into the day will be Day 1a chipleader Chance Kornuth who holds the second largest stack in the field with 3,840,000. He trails a surprising Gerlado Cesar who accumulated 4,315,000 on Day 1b and will be looking for a breakthrough performance here this week. Calvin Anderson will round out the top three stacks with 3,700,000 after battling with Cesar for much of the day yesterday.
There will also be plenty of partypoker pros in the action on Day 2 with Isaac Haxton leading the team. Haxton will start out with 3,660,000 chips and will be joined by Jason Koon (2,695,000), Joao Simao (2,275,000), Barny Boatman (2,075,000), Anatoly Filatov (1,650,000), Kristen Bicknell (1,570,000), Joni Jouhkimainen (1,350,000), Philipp Gruissem (1,130,000), Sam Trickett (1,000,000), and Fedor Holz (688,000).
The action will resume at 12 p.m. local time inside the convention center at the Baha Mar Resort. The blinds will resume on level 9 at 10,000/20,000 with a big blind ante of 20,000. It will be a longer day for the players with 10 levels on the schedule and a 15-minute break after every two levels. There is also a 60-minute dinner break scheduled for after the fourth level of the day. Late registration will remain open for the first four levels today until approximately 4:30 p.m. with everyone given the opportunity for two more entries today.
Follow along with the PokerNews live reporting team as we bring you the partypoker specific overview style of the tournament proceedings throughout the day.

The day has just begun but the partypoker pros came to play and they are providing all of the action early on. At one table, Kristen Bicknell and Manig Loeser were heads-up in a pot with around 550,000 already in the middle. The flop came and Loeser led out for 210,000 which Bicknell called. The landed on the turn and Loeser bet 1,000,000, enough to put Bicknell to the test for all of her chips but she quickly folded.
At the table next door, Marcel Luske has joined the action and found himself seated with Joni Jouhkimainen and Joao Simao. Joukhimainen raised to 45,000 in the cutoff and Luske called from the big blind. The flop fell and Luske check-called a bet of 75,000 from Joukhimainen.
The turn was the and Luske checked again. Joukhimainen fired another 140,000 and Luske called to see the on the river. Luske led out for 200,000 this time and his partypoker teammate thought for a minute before letting his cards go.
The field has grown to 314 entries thus far with just 205 players remaining. Isaac Haxton is closing in on the chip lead after taking down a pot against Peter Jetten. Haxton held one of the bigger stacks at the start of the day but is now up to around 4,300,000.

Gerlado Cesar came into the opening event of the $25,500 MILLIONS World as a bit of an unknown player but he's starting to make a name for himself. Cesar started Day 2 as the chipleader but has since accumulated another 2,000,000 chips to add to his lead.
Some other big stacks to start making themselves noticed include Andreas Eiler, Dominik Nitsche, Sam Greenwood, and Steffen Sontheimer. A couple of the new entries include Brandon Adams and James Calderaro as the field has now increased to 331 entries.
