Mizzi Doubles Through Igor

Nível 14 : 300,000/600,000, 70,000 ante

Sorel Mizzi has just doubled up against Igor Kruganov. The hand saw the action fold to Mizzi, who jammed from the button. Kurganov was in the small blind and went into the tank. Kurganov asked Mizzi how much he had.

“Under six,” Mizzi replied.

Kurganov continued to tank, eventually making the call when he found out Mizzi had 5,520,000 behind.

Mizzi: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Kurganov: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Mizzi was a slight favourite and it stayed that way as a {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} board was spread on the felt. Mizzi is now up to around 12 million in chips, while Kurganov is down to 3.7 million.

The players are back from their break and the cards are back in the air. Two more eliminations and we move to an unofficial final table of nine over in the live streaming studio, then we bust-out one more player (the bubble boy) and call it a night.

Payout Reminder

Nível 13 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

While the players are on their break, we thought it would be apt to remind everyone what these guys are playing for. The next three players will of course be awarded nothing for their time, while the top eight players will earn at least HK$6,000,000 (US$774,193). That's one huge bubble. Check out all the details below. The players will be back from their break in just a couple of minutes.

Break Time

Nível 13 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

The players have been sent on a 15-minute break. When we return, the 11 remaining players will continue playing down to an final table of eight - which is also when the bubble will burst.

No Action, No Thrills

Nível 13 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

There has been very little action over here at the main table. Only one flop has been seen in the last couple of orbits and not much has changed. The players just requested for the floor to show the live feed for the GDAM feature table on the screens here by their table. With such a massive bubble coming up, we don't blame them. The floor is currently seeing what they can do.

Main Table Counts

Nível 13 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

Below are the approximate chip stacks of the players here on the main gaming floor at PokerStars LIVE at the City of Dreams.

Big Double for Sorel

Nível 13 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

Sorel Mizzi has just managed to pick up a quick double up. Mizzi was all in preflop holding {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} against the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} of Anthony Gregg. Mizzi was all in for around 7.5 million which was around three quarters of Gregg's stack.

The board ran out in favour of Mizzi, with {4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} leaving Gregg with around 3.5 million in chips, while Mizzi was up over 15 million.
