The runner-up of the 2012 EPT Prague and champion of the EPT Deauville in 2014, Sotirios Koutoupas, raised to 525 and was called by Mateusz Moolhuizen in the big blind. Both players checked the flop and Moolhuizen then bet the turn for 1,000. Koutoupas called and did so again for 1,200 on the river.

Moolhuizen announced a king and the Greek replied "king too, with a six" before revealing . Moolhuizen had and they chopped the pot.

EPT Prague Smashes Records with 228 Tournament Staff

The following was just posted on the European Poker Tour's Facebook page. It's a pretty big event, and there are a lot of tables and dealers. PokerStars photographer Neil Stoddart made a photo of a lot of them.

It’s clear from the giant fields we’ve already had that the EPT Prague Poker Festival is going to be one of our biggest ever events. So it’s good news that we came well prepared, with more than140 poker tables and a record 228 tournament staff. However it’s not just the stacked 59-event schedule that is boosting numbers here at the Hilton Prague; we also have more than 35 EPT-run cash game tables operating around the clock in the hotel’s spacious ballroom. Our thanks to all the dealers at EPT Prague who are doing the most amazing job – and thanks to our players for coming!

Silver Stunned

Max Silver is out. He just related the tale on social media how his opponent five-bet called with off suit versus Silver’s for 45,000.

The aces ended up the loser and the EPT Main Event is over for a perplexed Silver.

On the first break of the day we still managed to grab a hold of Silver to talk about his beautiful Christmas jumper.

In the last level online super star and EPT Sanremo 2010 runner up Jakob Carlsson opened for 550 and EPT London 2014 runner up (and EPT Berlin 2010 champion) Kevin MacPhee made the call on the button. The player in the small blind squeezed to 2,000 and both Carlsson and MacPhee called.

The flop came and the small blind tossed in 2,100. Carlsson called, MacPhee decided against it and folded.

The small blind, asking the floor something in the meantime, bet out 2,900 on the turn. Carlsson called again, but the Swede folded to his opponents 4,000 bet on the river.

"What you have?" asked the small blind. "Why should I tell?" replied Carlsson. "Yeah, but what you have?" asked the small blind again, not understanding what Carlsson had answered. Carlsson just laughed a bit and dind't reply anymore.

Lemina Continues To Rise

Manlio Lemina opened with a bet from under the gun plus one and was met with a raise to 1,300 from his opponent seated to his immediate left. The table folded back around to Lemina who made the call.

The flop came down and Lemina checked. Another bet of 1,300 followed which was called. The made its way on the turn and Lemina stuck to tradition check calling a further bet of 2,500.

The dealer produced the on the river and Lemina reluctantly checked called a final bet of 5,000. His opponent tabled for king high before tabling to take down the pot.
