Yokosawa Gets Value With Flush

With two players seeing a board of J73 and 600 in the pot, Joakim Andersson bet 200 from the big blind and Masato Yokosawa called from under the gun.

On the 4 turn Andersson checked and Yokosawa bet 600. Andersson made the call.

Andersson check-called another bet from Yokosawa on the K river, this time for 1,300.

Yokosawa turned over a rivered flush with 64 and Andersson mucked.

Killian Raises Out Helppi on the River

Heads-up on a board of 510A4, Juha Helppi bet 1,500 from under the gun and Anthony Killian called in the hijack.

The river was the K and Helppi continued for 3,600. Killian then raised to 8,500 and Helppi snap-folded.

Despite dropping that pot, Helppi has already increased his stack to around 70,000 so far on the first level of Day 1. Noah Boeken has also recently taken his seat at this table.

Zhang Leads on the River

Action was picked up on a 1044 flop in a three-bet pot between Fan Zhang in middle position against Victor Chong on the button.

Chong continued for 1,300 and Zhang put in the call.

The turn brought the 5. Chong continued to apply pressure as he sized up to 8,000. However, Zhang was quick to put in the call once again.

The 6 peeled off on the river. This time, Zhang became the aggressor and opted to lead for 16,500. Chong did not take long before he conceded the pot to Zhang.

Drumond Trips Up De Marathaoan

With two players seeing a board of 1010899 and around 2,000 in the middle, Alec Torelli checked in the big blind and Duco ten Haven bet 1,100 from the button. Torelli made the call.

Ten Haven turned over aces up with AA and Torelli mucked.

Pommier Fills Up to Take a Massive Pot

Vladimir Troyanovskiy bet 1,000 from the button on a flop of J93 and Mengshi Tian raised to 2,500 in the small blind. Christophe Pommier called in the big blind, as did Troyanovskiy.

The turn was the 8 and Tian led out for 6,100. Both opponents called and the 9 fell on the river. Tian then checked and Pommier bet 16,800.

Troyanovskiy slammed his chips down on his stack as he folded, while Tian took a minute before he called. Pommier then showed J9 for a full house.

"Queen-ten?" Troyanovskiiy asked Tian, who flashed the 3 as he mucked.

Smbatyan Forces Out Korzinin

With two players seeing a board of 8376 and around 3,500 in the middle, Vladimir Korzinin checked from the cutoff and Artyom Smbatyan bet 1,100 from the button. Korzinin made the call.

Korzinin checked again on the A river and Smbatyan bet 5,500. Korzinin opted to fold and Smbatyan took the pot without showdown.

Tajiou Bets Big Against Andersson

In a blind versus blind battle and around 7,000 in the pot by the turn on a board of KQ99, Mounir Tajiou led out for 6,500 and Joakim Andersson called.

The river was the 6 and Tajiou bet 17,000. Andersson used a time bank before folding as Tajiou took the pot.

Hamani Gets Paid with Flush

Zaki Hamani opened to 500 from the cutoff and then called after Fahredin Mustafov three-bet to 2,000 from the button.

On the 973 flop, Mustafov continued for 2,500 and Hamani quickly put in the call.

The J turn checked through to the 6 river which saw Hamani lead for 10,000. Mustafov snapped it off and got the bad news immediately as Hamani tabled A7 for a rivered flush and he collected a sizeable pot early in the day.
