On the J♦10♦9♥ flop, Zanetti continued for 1,800, Jeschka check-jammed for 9,000 effective and Zanetti snapped it off to put himself at risk.

Jeschka had flopped top and bottom pair while Zanetti had a gutshot Royal Flush draw. The Q♥ on the turn gave Zanetti additional outs but they did not come in on the 3♠ river as he hit the rail.

Saymon Dias bet 2,300 from early position on a flop of 10♥10♠9♥ and Ryan Price called in the small blind. Ian Bradley then raised to 11,000 from under the gun.

Dias pushed forward a tower of blue 5,000 chips for a reraise and Price quickly folded. Bradley, who had around 20,000 remaining, tanked for a minute as he considered the decision for the rest of his chips, but he also mucked as Dias took down the pot.

John Duthie opened to 800 from early position and Gonzalo Gottlieb called on the button. In the small blind, Mateo Urretavizcaya three-bet to 3,200 and only Duthie called.

On the A♠Q♦7♠ flop, Urretavizcaya continued for 2,500 and Duthie put in the call.

Urretavizcaya bet larger on the 4♣ turn for 8,000. Duthie used his full 30 seconds before he called.

The 5♠ peeled off on the river. Urretavizcaya used two time banks before he checked and Duthie quickly checked behind.

"I'm probably meant to fold the turn there, but it's so hard," Duthie elaborated.

Fahad El Mechraa and Michael Dwyer went to the river on a board of 7♦Q♠K♠6♣3♣ when Dwyer bet 11,000 from the cutoff. El Mechraa then raised to 22,000 on the button.

Dwyer tanked for a minute before folding as El Mechraa showed A♠10♠ for missed straight and flush draws while taking in the pot. "Nice bet," Dwyer told him.

Tom Middleton raised to 3,500 from the button and Norden folded before Korzinin moved all in for around 6,000. Middleton called to put him at risk.

Middleton was ahead with top pair but the 5♣ turn gave Korzinin two pair to take the lead. The A♠ river improved Middleton to a Broadway straight and he took the pot while Korzinin became the first elimination of the day.
