Peter Jaksland bet 12,000 from middle position on a flop of 10♠7♠J♥ before Niall Farrell raised to 27,500 under the gun.

Jaksland called and the 10♥ fell on the turn. Farrell checked to Jaksland who then bet enough to put Farrell all in. Farrell called for 65,500.

Jaksland had A♥Q♥ for straight and flush draws, while Farrell showed K♠J♣ for two pair. The 2♠ fell on the river and Farrell held on to double up.

"A lot of shit going on on that board," Farrell said. "I didn't really want to do it this close to the money, but I couldn't min-cash and look myself in the mirror if I didn't play."

Mestre Shows a Set in Massive Pot

Nearly 300,000 was already in the middle as Joao Mestre and Davis Mihelsons went to the river on a completed board of 10♠3♣J♣7♠K♦.

According to tablemate Jon Kyte, Joao Mestre raised to 6,500 in early position, then called when Mihelsons three-bet to 18,000 in the hijack.

Mihelsons continued for 11,000 on the flop before Mestre raised to 29,000. Mihelsons called, then called when Mestre bet another 115,000 on the turn.

Mestre slowed down and checked the river, and Mihelsons paused for a moment before checking back. Mestre then showed 3♥3♠ for a flopped set and Mihelsons mucked.

"Afraid of ace-queen or kings. One of the two," Kyte said to Mestre as he raked in the massive pot.

Colillas Leaves Schulze With Crumbs

Sebastian Schulze bet 8,000 from under the gun on a flop of 3♥10♠2♦ and Vanni Losi called on the button, as did big blind Ramon Colillas.

All three players checked the K♦ turn before the K♣ fell on the river. Colillas checked to Schulze again, and Schulze bet 13,000.

Losi folded, but Colillas raised to 120,000. Schulze called and Colillas turned over K♠2♠ for a full house.

Schulze mucked and got out of his seat to leave the tournament before the table pointed out he still had 15,000 behind.

Rolando Carrera opened to 7,000 from under the gun and Elias Abussamra called from the button. Ori Miller reraised to 34,000 from the small blind before Marc Foggin jammed for 174,500 from the big blind. Action folded back to Miller who snap-called.

Foggin was on the rougher side of the preflop cooler but picked up a Broadway draw after the J♦10♠9♣ flop. He binked the straight on the Q♣ turn and doubled up after the 3♣ river.

Foggin was elated after the runout while Miller couldn't believe what had taken place just before the break started. Foggin bowed and thanked the dealer and left the room with a skip in his step.

Thiriart Coolers Zidek on the Bubble

Heads-up on a board of 9♥6♠10♠7♠, Arthur Thiriart bet 8,000 from the small blind and Patrik Zidek called in early position.

The river was the 4♣ and Thiriart fired out 65,000. Zidek tanked for several minutes as cameras began to surround the table, with this being the last hand remaining in the room.

Zidek eventually called and Thiriart turned over K♠Q♠ for a flush. Zidek tossed pocket sevens into the muck, his turned set not enough to avoid handing over the big pot to Thiriart.

Cech was in good shape to double up, but the 5♠8♠Q♥ flop vaulted Adamszki into the lead with a set of queens.

The 5♦ turn and 7♦ river changed nothing and Cech, who suffered cracked kings at the hands of Adamszki earlier today, was eliminated just shy of the money.

Matrige Bubbles Main Event

Sebastien Matrige, who had almost have his stack in the middle in big blind and ante, peeled his cards before placing his remaining 9,000 chips, into the pot.

Pesic called for 1,000 more. The two players turned over their cards as the cameras gathered.

The flop of 8♣8♥4♣ was clean for Pesic's pocket pair, and Matrige needed an ace or a queen to win.

The 2♣ meant that the remaining players were one card away from cashing in this record-breaking Main Event.

Matrige's fate was sealed on the 9♦ river. He tapped the table and bumped fists with his fellow table mates as he left the table.

Teun Mulder opened to 9,000 from middle position and was called by Jose Gonzalez in the cutoff. Samuel Bifarella squeezed to 102,000 from the small blind, leaving himself just 4,000 behind, which got a call from Mulder and a fold from Gonzalez.

Gonzalez checked to Mulder, who bet enough to put Bifarella all in. Bifarella called and hands were revealed.
