Nível 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Pascal Frezza
Pascal Frezza

Roger Taieb opened the action on the cutoff with a raise to the minimum of 60,000. Pascal Frezza put in the three-bet from the button to 160,000, after which small blind Axel Santoni four-bet his stack all in. Taieb quickly went out of the way, but Frezza put it in the call for about a million chips to put himself at risk.

Pascal Frezza: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Axel Santoni: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

The board ran out an uneventful {7-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}, and Frezza was eliminated from the tournament. Meanwhile, Santoni is having a great start and has added almost two million chips to his stack in the first level of the day.

Xu Takes From Franco and Gives to Decauche

Nível 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The action was caught on the {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} board, with around 750,000 in the pot.

Sonny Franco bet 245,000 from middle position and was called by Ai Guo Xu from the hijack.

Franco then checked on the {j-Spades} river and reluctantly called when Xu bet 125,000.

Xu tabled his {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a set of nines and Franco mucked.

A few hands later, Xu opened to 65,000 and called when Dorian Decauche jammed for 325,000 from the button.

Dorian Decauche: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Ai Guo Xu: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Decauche had Xu dominated but the {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop brought in a sweat. The {k-Clubs} turn kept the short stack ahead and then the {7-Diamonds} river confirmed his double up.

Jean-Jacques Zeitoun
Jean-Jacques Zeitoun

Jean-Jacques Zeitoun was all in for around 300,000 against the bigger stacked Viorel Gavrila on a board of {5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts} before the cards were turned on their backs.

Jean-Jacques Zeitoun: {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Viorel Gavrila: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Zeitoun had trips but had run into the king-high flush of Gavrila and the {7-Spades} failed to fill up Zeitoun as he hit the rail.

Piton Blasts in Three-Bet Pot

Nível 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Thibault Reverdito opened the Hijack to 60,000, and Aristide Piton defended his big blind. The flop was spread out {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Reverdito put out a continuation-bet of 45,000 after a check from Piton. Piton responded by putting raising chips in the middle for a total of 100,000. Reverdito obliged with a call, and the players were off to the turn {6-Diamonds}.

The turn prompted Piton to put all of his 400,000 chips in. Reverdito found this amount too much for a call and passed his hand to the dealer.
