Artur Martirosian opened to 35,000 from the hijack before Kayhan Mokri three-bet to 104,000 from the cutoff. Martirosian called, then check-called for 82,000 on the K♦Q♣5♦ flop, which brought in the 9♦ turn. Both players checked and saw the 10♥ river.
Martirosian used up a time bank before moving all in for 504,000 and after a count, Mokri called as the bigger stack. Martirosian tabled his Q♦10♦ for the flush, which bested Mokri's straight as he had the K♥J♠.
Mokri was then all in on the next hand with 9x9x for his last 330,000 after getting into a raising war with Timothy Adams. The Canadian called the all-in with Q♦J♦ to put Mokri at risk. Adams' hand ended up being the winner following the board runout and the start of day chip leader was eliminated.

Orpen Kisacikoglu opened to 35,000 from early position and Mikita Badziakouski defended his big blind. The K♠5♥4♦ flop checked through to the 2♠ turn. Badziakouski check-called for 31,000 before the A♠ river checked through to showdown.
Badziakouski had a pair of deuces with his 10♦2♦, but Kisacikoglu had the winner with his K♣10♣, which was good for a pair of kings.
A few hands later and on the same table, Stephen Chidwick opened to 32,000 from the hijack and was called by SIrzat Hissou and Adrian Mateos from the button and the big blind.
Action checked to Hissou on the A♦2♦7♣ flop and he bet 32,000, which forced out both Mateos and Chidwick.

Ben Heath was involved in an already inflated pot against Alex Kulev. The board was 6♦K♥K♠9♣7♣.
Heath checked and Kulev shoved all in for close to half a million. Heath looked perplexed but he quickly made the call.
Players around the table leaned forward to see what was about to occur. Kulev flipped over K♦9♦ for a full house and scooped a huge pot that brought him to around 1.25 million chips.

Santhosh Suvarna limped-called from the small blind after Stephen Chidwick raised in the big blind.
On the 5♠5♥2♥ flop, Suvarna check-jammed as the bigger stack after Chidwick continued for 21,000. With 100,000 behind, Chidwick called for his tournament life.
Stephen Chidwick: A♥K♦
Santhosh Suvarna: Q♥10♥
Chidwick was ahead but Suvarna had plenty of outs to eliminate the Englishman. However, the 9♠ turn and A♠ river kept Chidwick ahead to double up.
Chidwick then added more to his stack when Mikalai Vaskaboinikau folded his big blind after Chidwick jammed.
