Spragg Hits Quads in Preflop All-In Situation

Nível 21 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Ben Spragg
Ben Spragg

Peter Charalambous was sitting middle position and made the raise to 32,000. PokerStars Ambassador Benjamin Spragg was one seat over in the cutoff and he put in the three-bet to an even 100,000. The action folded back to Charalambous who made the four-bet shove. It covered Spragg's stack of around 430,000, who quickly made the call.

Benjamin Spragg: QQ
Peter Charalambous: AK

It was a classic preflop flip for the two players, which was almost definitively decided in Spragg's favor when the flop came AQQ. Quads for ''Spraggy'' meant that Charalambous had to catch running aces to win the pot.

The turn A brought one of them for a tiny sweat, but Spragg faded the one-outer when the 3 river hit.

''We were always gonna get it in, weren't we?'' commented Charalambous while counting out the exact chips necessary to pay off Spragg.

Level 20 Bustouts (€2,880)

Nível 21 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Roth Check-Jams On Karakousis

Nível 21 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The action folded to Georgios Karakousis on the button who opened for 33,000 and only Matthias Roth made the call in the big blind.

The dealer fanned out a flop of 866 and both players checked their options to the K turn. Roth checked a second time and Karakousis bet out 20,000, leaving 35,000 behind. Roth moved all in with the bigger stack and Karakousis quickly mucked his cards.

On the next hand Karakousis hit the rail when he couldn't spin up his short stack.

Four-Bet Brings Results for Badel

Nível 21 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The action folded to Serge Badel in the cutoff, who made it 32,000 to go. Lukas Hafner was his neighbor on the button and he reraised to 95,000. Tomas Patka was in the big blind and mulled over his options, but eventually folded.

Badel slowly gathered some T-25,000 chips and slid them forward, for a four-bet worth 220,000. Hafner did not deem his hand good enough to put in the extra money and he let it go. Hafner requested his opponent to ''show the bluff," but Badel threw his cards into the muck, murmuring ''No bluff."

Facquet Shoves On Guido

Nível 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action was picked up in a heads-up pot with roughly 130,000 in the middle on a board showing K527.

Brice Guido bet out 165,000 from early position and Vincent Facquet shoved all in from the cutoff for just over the 580,000 effective stack of Guido, who went deep in the tank.

After almost a minute, Guido let his cards go and the pot was shipped to Facquet.

Bartov the Magnificent Falls to Rocha

Nível 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Michael Bartov was all in and at risk against the bigger-stacked Lucas Silva Rocha across the table.

Michael Bartov: AK
Lucas Silva Rocha: KQ

Bartov had his opponent dominated, but that was little consolation as the flop landed 3Q9 to pair Rocha's queen. Nothing changed on the 73 runout to mark Bartov's elimination.
