De Simone Folds a Flush

Nível 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

David De Simone was in a heads-up pot against Gergely Kulcsar and faced a river decision for his tournament life near the money bubble.

With the board reading {9-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, Kulcsar moved all in to put De Simone in for his last 75,000 or so with less than that in the pot. Just a few players off the money, De Simone went into an extended tank that lasted several minutes as he thought through a decision.

"Fold," De Simone announced before showing {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a flush.

Nível 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Pham Tien Dung
Pham Tien Dung

On a flop of {q-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}, Victor Shuchleib moved his last 23,000 chips into the middle from the small blind and was instantly called by Tien Dung Pham in the cutoff.

Victor Shuchleib: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Tien Dung Pham: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Shuchleib had flopped top two pair, but he was outflopped by Pham who had drilled Broadway.

The {2-Clubs} on the turn and {10-Hearts} on the river couldn't save Shuchleib, and he was eliminated just a few spots away from the money.

Sorensen Takes From Lococo

Nível 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With roughly 40,000 in the pot on a {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop, Torben Sorensen was in early position and called a bet of 17,000 against Alejandro Lococo in the cutoff.

The {5-Clubs} landed on the turn and Sorensen check-called for 70,000, while both players checked the {4-Spades} river.

Sorensen tabled {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} for the best hand to add to his sizable stack, as "Papo MC" sent his cards into the muck.

Cvetkovic Doubles Through Gomez

Nível 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Javier Gomez raised to 8,000 from middle position and Andrija Cvetkovic three-bet to 21,000 from the button. Action folded back to Gomez who four-bet jammed for about 210,000. With 8 players away from the money, Cvetkovic went deep into the tank, then made the call with his last 91,000.

Andrija Cvetkovic: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Javier Gomez: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades} board ran safe for Cvetkovic and he doubled up.

Goya Check-Raises Peters

Nível 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

In a battle between the blinds, Dante Goya checked on a flop of {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Peters bet 6,000. Goya check-raised to 17,000 and Peters called.

The turn brought the {q-Hearts} and Goya checked. Peters checked back. Goya checked again on the {4-Diamonds} river and Peters also checked.

Goya tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for a pair of queens, but it was no good against the top pair of Peters with {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.
