Putz to Return for Day 1c

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Christopher Putz
Christopher Putz

Christopher Putz was all-in for his tournament life and was called by Hussein Hoteit.

Christopher Putz: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Hussein Hoteit: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The table let out a gasp after Hoteit hit a full house on the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop, there was nothing Putz could do except watch the {2-Diamonds} turn and {10-Diamonds} river hit the felt.

O'Neill Goes Runner Runner for Chip Lead

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Richard O'Neill
Richard O'Neill

Richard O'Neill was seen dragging a sizeable pot and he paraphrased the action. There was a three-way all-in with O'Neill, the covering stack, holding pocket jacks versus his opponents' pocket tens and queens.

There was a queen on the flop but O'Neill caught a jack on the turn and rivered the case jack for quads for a double elimination and the chip lead.

Sinclair Exits After Three-Way All-In

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Sinclair Jack
Sinclair Jack

Jack Sinclair moved all-in from under the gun for 10,100 before Efstathios Kavoukis made it 25,000 in early position. Marc Lange was in the small blind and seemed to be in a spot. If Lange called, he would also be at risk of elimination. Eventually he sighed and put his chips in the middle.

Jack Sinclair: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Marc Lange: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Efstathios Kavoukis: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Lange's decision proved to be a fruitful one as he flopped best after the {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop. Sinclair needed to find a jack or his evening would be over while Kavoukis had top pair. Lange essentially tripled up and Sinclair was eliminated late in Level 10.
