Weis Doubles Through Schemion

Nível 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

On the heads-up turn showing {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Oliver Weis checked and Ole Schemion bet 4,550. Weis called in this battle of the Germans and checked again the {J-Hearts} river. Schemion put forward a stack of T-5,000 chips, enough to cover his opponent, and Weis snap-called all in.

Schemion rolled over {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} for top set only to see Weis flash {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the rivered nut flush. Weis doubled for 16,850 and helped himself back above starting stack, while Schemion dropped below that.

Daher Doubles Through Dvoress

Nível 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

A reraise to 4,000 was in front of Daniel Dvoress in the hijack and his sole remaining opponent Albert Daher then made it 8,600 to go from middle position. Dvoress moved all in and Daher quickly called.

Albert Daher: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Daniel Dvoress: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Daher doubled for 32,175, almost much halving the stack of Dvoress in the process.

Chouity Folds, Katchalov's Stack Grows

Nível 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

On a board of {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} we saw Manig Loeser bet out 7,000 from the small blind. Nicolas Chouty called from the hijack and Eugene Katchalov called from the cutoff.

The {Q-Diamonds} completed the board and Loeser checked. Chouity bet 19,000 and Katchalov moved in for 33,425. Loeser folded right away but Chouity needed some more time to make up his mind. He tanked for some minutes before he eventually let go of his hand, heavily sighing while doing so.

Vojtech Ruzicka
Vojtech Ruzicka

Max Silver opened to 1,200 and Ari Engel called before Vojtech Ruzicka three-bet to 4,900 on the button. Only Silver called and check-called the {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop for 4,000. On the {3-Diamonds} turn, Silver check-called another barrel worth 8,050 and checked the third street in a row on the {3-Spades} river.

Ruzicka shoved for 27,475 and Silver was sent into the think tank. He talked through possible hands, and eventually called. Ruzicka tapped the table in defeat and said "good call" before rolling over his {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a bluff, Silver claimed the pot with {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for a full house.

Karlic Doubles Short Stack

Nível 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

After a raise to 800, Niklas Hambitzer three-bet to 2,300 on the button. Gerald Karlic four-bet all in for 11,225 and the initial raiser folded. "I guess I have to call," Hambitzer said and tossed in the extra chips.

Gerald Karlic: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Niklas Hambitzer: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} and Karlic doubled, but remains at less than half the starting stack. Some further players were less fortunate and busted already, while Jaroslaw Sikora and Stephen Chidwick also lost decent portion of their stack early on.
