Gathy Gotta Go

Nível 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Michael Gathy
Michael Gathy

Michael Gathy raised from under the gun plus one to 5,000 and Andrea Benelli defended his big blind. On the {4-}{5-}{5-} flop, the Italian check-called 4,500 and checked again the {J-} turn. Gathy followed up with another bet of 11,600 and was called.

The {9-} river completed the board and Benelli checked for a third time in a row. Gathy moved all in for ~ 35,000 with pocket kings, Benelli snap called with pocket nines for the two outer on the river.

Scarcella Hits His Set

Nível 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Lennart Konst raised it up to 4,900 under the gun and the gentleman right next to him, Vincenzo Scarcella, made the call. Paul Berende posted 4,900 as well and so did Thiago Crema De Macedo from the big blind.

De Macedo and Konst checked the {10-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop. Scarcella bet out 8,000 and Berende instantly folded. De Macedo and Konst both made the call and it was three-way to the turn.

The {7-Clubs} made both the big blind and Konst check once more. Scarcella now bet 28,000 and De Macedo folded. Konst made the call however and the {9-Diamonds} popped up as the river. Konst asked his opponent how much he was still playing, and bet out 31,000 after seeing he was up against a 70,000 stack. Scarcella made the immediate call.

Konst turned over {9-Spades}{10-Spades} for a rivered two-pair. That hand went into the muck a second later though as Scarcella tabled {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for the flopped set.

Show The Deuce

Nível 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Raul Mestre opened the action and ended up four-betting to 22,000. Nicolas Chouity called to see the {Q-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop. Mestre followed up with a bet to 28,000 and Chouity thought it for a while before releasing his cards. The Spaniard was about to throw his cards into the muck when seat eight demanded "Show the Deuce!"

Mestre picked one of the two cards, turned over the {6-Spades}. Nice table image building there.

No Bounty For Heinz

Nível 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Gianluca Petrone got all but his last 11,400 chips in the middle of the table and was up against former World Series of Poker Main Event champion Pius Heinz. The German had invested 21,000 preflop and then put his opponent all in once the {6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} flop fell. Petrone called with {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and managed to score a double against {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}. Both the {9-Spades} turn and {4-Clubs} river failed to improve the hand of Heinz.
