Dominik Nitsche has just joined table 13 taking the seat vacated by El Amir Ziad Chehab who has finally been eliminated. He is instantly regaled by tales from the table of the erratic play from the recently departed player including his limp with kings against Wheeler’s queens and leading out into four players when a flush hit. Safe to say it was less than complimentary.

One of the players involved in the discussion, Jason Duval had called a 400 open and was the only player to call when the small blind raised to 1,200.

They saw a flop of {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Duval called a bet of 2,100. The turn {8-Clubs} was checked and when the river came the {8-Diamonds} and it was checked to him a bet of 5,800 from Duval saw the pot pushed to him.

Quads Pays for Odogwu’s Kids Shoes

Nível 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Jonathan Odogwu had the last of his chips in the middle of a flop reading {3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Spades} and was up against two other players who had called, Joao Simao from Brazil and Jeremy Nock. The turn card was the {2-Spades} and the river was the {4-Clubs}.

Nock said, “Flush.” and turned over his {k-Spades}{10-Spades}. Simao mucked and Odogwu said “Two pair.”

Odogwu turned over {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for the flopped quads explaining his triple up as, “My kid needs shoes.”

Watson Beats the Flush Draws

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

On the turn of a {3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} board, the small blind had led out for 525 before Dan Smith raised to 1,800. Mike Watson opted to cold call this bet, Paul Newey folded and the small blind also called.

The river was the {5-Spades} and all three players checked, the small blind showed {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, Smith turned over {J-Clubs}{5-Clubs} but Watson had them all beat with {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}.
