The Road to the Final Table

The fifth and penultimate day of the Season 10 PokerStars European Poker Tour London Main Event is set to begin in an hour or so here at the Grand Connaught Rooms, and leading the remaining 16 players is New Zealand's [Removed:17] (2,313,000). Yan, 20, finished third in APPT Melbourne Main Event in September, sixth in the Aussie Millions Main Event in January, and is a regular contributor to the EPT Live broadcast. The Kiwi will certainly be featured on the live stream today — this time as a competitor and not as a commentator — and will look to remain outside of the booth heading into Day 6.

Behind Yan is Swede Robin Ylitalo (2,146,000). Ylitalo finished sixth in a World Series of Poker bracelet event this summer and his two previous deep runs on the EPT. In Season 8 he finished eighth in Campione for €54,000, and in Season 7 he finished 13th in Berlin for €28,000.

Also among the final 16 players is Aussie Jeff Rossiter. Only two players, Tony Gregg and Niklas Heinecker, have earned more money than Rossiter ($3,317,147) in 2013. The Aussie finished second to Heinecker in the GuangDong Asia Millions Main Event and took down a €2,000 side event at EPT9 Berlin. Rossiter has less than a million chips, but with over 60 big blinds he will be a force to reckon with.
