Neophytos Neophytou, 41, London
Likes to be called "Phidos", pronounced Fidos. He’s a Londoner and describes himself as an “old school” player. Age 41. Runs his own magazine publishing business. Been playing poker for around 15 years. Online he plays tourneys and cash, while live he mainly plays cash. This is already his biggest live cash.
Candido Goncalves, 46, France
Runs his own construction business, in the Bordeaux area, but is planning to sell and start playing the whole tour. He is an EPT regular playing EPTs for the last three years and this is his third Main Event cash. He bubbled the final at EPT7 Barcelona, finishing ninth for €50,000. He also cashed at EPT Campione and has a ton of side event cashes, including three final tables. He is half Portuguese but considers himself French. It is his 47th birthday on Saturday (it is also Senh Ung’s birthday on Saturday, he will be 39).
Senh Ung, 38, Birmingham, UK
Turns 39 on Saturday (shares birthday with Candido). He is half Chinese, half Vietnamese and runs his own Chinese restaurant in Birmingham. Has played quite a few EPTs but doesn’t play online much as so busy with work and fmaily. He moved to UK when he was eight years old. Played his first ever tournament in 2009 and sarted playing EPTs last year. Has a string of great EPT results already including three big scores at the EPT9 Grand Final in May - runner-up to Ole Schemion in the €10k for €67,600, runner-up in the €5k NL Turbo and sixth in the €10k NL Six Handed Turbo in May. Lifetime tournament winnings = $276,687.
