Cody on the Up

Nível 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

After winning a large pot with kings, Team PokerStars Pro just picked up another pot to increase his chip stack.

Sorel Mizzi opened to 350 preflop and was called by Cody, Vladimir Geshkenbein in the small blind and Rasmus Vogt in the big blind.

The four saw a {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop which was checked to Mizzi who bet 800. Cody was the only caller.

On the {K-Hearts} turn, Mizzi checked and Cody bet 2,100. Mizzi, who had lost about half his stack already, opted for a fold this time, though it wasn't without some serious contemplation first.

De Leon Can't Hit

Nível 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Bart Moens opened to 400 and was called by Robert Stain, Paul Newey and Panu Miettinen before Team PokerStars Pro Christian de Leon made it 1,800 on the button. The small blind flat-called, Moens and Stain folded, Newey called and Miettinen also folded.

The flop came {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and it was checked to de Leon who bet 3,700. The small blind called and Newey folded. No further action occurred on the {7-Clubs} and {8-Diamonds} river and the small blind picked up the pot with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

Agerskov Makes a "Nice Call"

Nível 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

When we arrived at Table 7, Rasmus Agerskov checked to Jeff Sarwer on a board of {2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. Sarwer bet 3,600 into a pot of around 5,000, and Greenwood tank-called.

The {j-Hearts} completed the board, Agerskov checked again, and Sarwer tossed out 8,200, which represented a very large portion of Agerskov's stack. The World Series of Poker bracelet winner tanked for the better part of two minutes, then finally flipped forward a single blue T5,000 chip.

"King-high," Sarwer announced.

Agerskov showed {9-Spades}{8-Spades}, then politely asked to see Sarwer's hand. Sarwer obliged, and the dealer turned over {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

"Good call," Sarwer told Agerskov. "Nice call."

Talal Takes a Hit

Nível 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

British high roller Talal Shakerchi opened to 300 from early position, and was called by three players, including Nikolaus Teichert on his direct left. The flop fell {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, the action checked to Shakerchi, and he continued for 500. Only Teichert called.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds}, Shakerchi led out for 1,200, and Teichert called again.

Shakerchi slowed down when the {5-Spades} completed the board, checking to Teichert who tossed out 2,600. Shakerchi folded, dropping down to 25,025 chips.
