The tournament has lost its first player from the 2016 Aussie Millions $25,000 Challenge.
We picked up action on the river, but fortunately the victor, Michael Addamo, filled us in on some details. According to him, Upeshka De Silva raised from the hijack, the player in the small blind called, and Addamo squeezed from the big blind. Only De Silva called and then Addamo fired every street as the board ran out .
De Silva called every step of the way, which included calling off his last 20,000 or so when Addamo shoved the river. Addamo tabled the for a flopped set, and it was good as De Silva flashed the
before heading for the exit.
