Stephen Chidwick, who won the 2016 Aussie Millions Poker Championships Event #7: $2,500 8-Game Mixed tournament yesterday, just put his tournament life on the line against Brazil's Yuri Dzivielevski, who has been on a heater as of late.
It happened when Dzivielevski opened for 2,500 from the button and Chidwick just three-bet jammed all in for 30,300 from the big blind. Dzivielevski thought for over a minute before calling, and no doubt regretted it.
Dzivielevski:
Chidwick:
Chidwick was well out in front thanks to his kicker, which is what made the difference after the board ran out a clean .

The clock tells us currently 101 players have entered, with registration still open till the end of level 8. Last year, when Alex Trevallion took down this tournament, a total of 104 entries were made. It looks like this year is even going to be bigger.
Niall Farrell just busted Aussie Michael Addamo, and he told us the action. Farrell raised to 2,200 and both blinds, Jeff Rossiter and Addamo, called.
The flop brought out and the action was checked to Farrell who bet 2,700 and only Addamo called.
On the turn the hit and Addamo checked again, after which Farrell bet 11,500. Addamo made the call and on the river the hit.
"He checked again, and I moved all in for 25k effectively," Farrell said, as Addamo tanked for quite some time before calling all in.
Farrell tabled for a full house, and Addamo mucked his cards as he left the tournament area.
