Set of Fours For Brandvold

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

The flop read {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and we found Kirk Brandvold and Motoki Jinno heads up in the hand.

Jinno checked on over to Brandvold who fired 600 from the cutoff. Jinno slid out a check-raise to 1,500 and Brandvold wasted little time three-betting to 4,100. Jinno called.

The {3-Diamonds} hit the turn and Jinno checked. Brandvold continued his aggression by tossing a single 5,000 chip into the middle. Jinno called with little hesitation.

The river finished off with the {9-Hearts} and the action quickly went check-check. Jinno showed {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} but was ultimately behind Brandvold's {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} for a flopped set of fours. Brandvold scooped up the pot and is now sitting on about 29,500.

Early Pot For Lin

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

In a battle of the blinds, the player in the small blind check-called a bet of 350 from Team PokerStars Pro Celina Lin on a {J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop. It was more of the same when the {3-Spades} turn fell as Lin's opponent check-called 825, landing the {K-Diamonds} river. A third check from the player in the small blind led to a bet of 1,500 from Lin. Her opponent folded after a few moments and Lin took the pot.

Ace on the River

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

We caught up with the action to find Andrew Moreno fire out a bet of 325 on a flop of {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Moreno's opponent on the button called and the two took the turn of the {4-Spades}.

Moreno slowed down by tapping the table and his opponent slid out 1,525. Moreno stuck around and the {A-Hearts} hit the river. Moreno checked for a second time and his opponent bet 2,050. Moreno called and his opponent showed {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}, pairing his ace on the river. Moreno mucked his hand and the pot was pushed to his opponent. Moreno is now sitting on about 13,500.
