Wally Sombero, the man known as the Godfather of Filipino poker, is progressing well here on Day 1c of the APPT Cebu Main Event.
We caught Sombero raking some chips in a recent multi-way pot. Four players went to a flop of 
where an early position player took a stab for 700. Sombero was his only customer as they went to the 
turn. Action checked to Sombero who bet 1,250 which was enough to take it down.
Sombero is up to 52,000 approaching the last break of the day.
